LJUBLJANA BERE (LJUBLJANA READS)
REGIONAL PROGRAMME OF THE 22. BOOK FAIR(Y)
Arts and culture scene of the city of Ljubljana will be presented in the form of this year's special regional programme which will be realized as a focal topic „Ljubljana bere”.
More than ten authors and artists from Ljubljana are going to attend this multimedia programme which comprises the publishing, literary, scientific, art, illustration, music, and even gastronomic scene of Ljubljana.
Ljubljanian authors within the setting of the Book Fair(y), Ljubljanian artists in the galleries of Pula, Ljubljanian musicians in the clubs of Pula and the tastes of Ljubljana in the streets of Pula form part of the programme “Ljubljana bere”, or “Ljubljana Reads”.
We are making this programme with the help of:
The City County/City of Ljubljana, Slovenian Book Agency (JAK), LPP / Ljubljanski potiški promet, public agency Turizem Ljubljana, Pula Tourist Board and Archeological Museum of Istria, and the selector of the programme is Renata Zamida, associate of the Slovenian Book Agency.
During this programme, Pula will revive under the sign of Ljubljana as a world capital of the book, a title which Ljubljana got in 2010, and as a city which carries the UNESCO Creative City sign since the year 2015.
