Olja Savičević Ivančević was born in 1974 in Split, Croatia, where she lives and works. She graduated in literature in Zadar. Author of the poetry collections Bit će strašno kada ja porastem, Vječna djeca, Žensko pismo, Kućna pravila, Mamasafari (i ostale stvari), short story collection Nasmijati psa, and novels Adio kauboju and Pjevač u noći. Her stories inspired scripts and short film, a theatre play was put on stage based on Adio kauboju, and her other texts were turned into children’s plays. A winner of Kiklop and Libar za vajk.
