Dr Ivo Borovečki Reader Award was established five years ago and is given to the most eager reader at the Fair(y) who truly loves reading and has a lifelong passion for the written word. The Fair(y) gives away the Award once a year, even though it takes much longer to become a reader. In 2016 Dr. Lems Jerin, medical doctor who has been working as a nefrologist since 1976 and has spent 15 years as general director at General Hospital Pula, won the Award. Dr. Jerin is known for cultivating a love of books that keep him company every step of the way.
